The Dolphins couldn't get past a very good Glenwood Academy team on Tuesday night, who rolled past Gulf Breeze, 11-3 at home.

Glenwood jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning, before adding three more in the top of the third. Gulf Breeze battled back to pull to within one in the bottom half of the fifth inning, but that was as close as they would get as Glenwood took home the win.

Dane Monnin was charged with the loss on the mound for Gulf Breeze as he gave up just 4 earned runs and 3 walks while striking out 3 in his 5 2/3 innings pitched.

Gulf Breeze will look to bounce back on Wednesday night (3/26) as they play host to 5A Escambia for the first time this season.
