Central wrapped up regular season district play on Monday night with a big 10-1 thrashing of Laurel Hill.
The Jags jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning and never looked back, cruising to 10 runs off of 12 hits on their way to a 7-1 district record, sealing up the top seed in the upcoming district tournament.
Logan Campbell pitched his second consecutive one-hitter, losing his no-no in the bottom of the seventh inning on a Jace Smith solo homer. He finished having given up the single hit with 2 walks while striking out 12 in his complete game outing.
TJ King remained hot as a firecracker, hitting a two-out first inning solo shot, then walked 3 times before icing the game with a three-run blast in the top of the seventh. King's area leading average is sitting at .652 with 7 homers, 25 runs scored and a whopping 23 RBI.
Central will put their four-game winning streak on the line Friday night (4/11) as they head to Central Christian for their first head-to-head of the season.
