The Jags had their four game winning streak come to an end on Friday night as they lost a tough matchup on the road at Central Christian, 4-6.

Central jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but it was CCA who took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the second inning and never looked back, cruising to the 6-4 non-district win.

Chad McDaniel was charged with his first loss of the season, giving up 3 earned runs off of 4 hits while striking out 6 in his six innings on the mound.

Wesley Hamm led the way at the plate for Central, going 2-3 with an RBI, 2 homers, and 3 stolen bags on the night.

The Jags will look to regroup on Monday night as they play host to cross town rival and defending 2A regional champions Jay, for the first time this season.
