The Raiders got their regular season kicked off on Friday and Saturday night as they took part in the Walton High School Tournament.

The Raiders opened up the tourney with a dominating win over Tate, 66-46 on Friday night before entering into a battle with Walton in the Semifinal game later that night.

Navarre jumped out to an early 23-9 lead over the Braves and looked to run away with it, before Walton bounced back in the second quarter to cut the lead to just four heading into the locker room at half.

The Braves chipped away at the Raiders, before eventually tying it up in the fourth quarter, sending it into overtime where it was Walton who came away with the tough 84-82 win.

Charlie Windfelder and CJ Sampson finished the night with 17 points, while teammate Brandon Penn had a game high 32 points on the evening.

Navarre dropped their final game to 5A Ft. Walton on Saturday, 81-48- to finish out 1-2 in the tournament.

The Raiders will now shift focus to district play as they will head to West Florida on December 4th to take on the West Florida Jaguars for their district opener.
